Ready to Navigate the Challenges of Today and Meet the Opportunities of Tomorrow
My name is Erik Hjerpe and I am running for Wheaton-Warrenville CUSD200 School Board because I want to serve my community and support the District in improving educational experiences and outcomes for all children. We have a great community and great schools, run by a capable administration and engaged educators. It is a solid foundation to build upon.
Building consensus, creative problem solving, empathy, project management, the ability to approach a topic from different angles, knowing when to engage subject matter experts, and the ability to develop and execute strategy are among the strengths that I will bring to this role. I care deeply about children, our schools, and our community. I also believe that CUSD200 is fundamentally on the right track. As such I look forward to navigating the challenges of today and helping our schools improve to meet the opportunities of tomorrow.
